<p>PURPOSE:To avoid traces of projections on a sheet during reverse feeding so as to prevent defective transfer at recopying by setting the reverse feeding end surfaces of kick off projections to make a gentle angle with respect to the periphery of flanges, while said projections being arranged on the flanges at both ends of a sheet ejecting roller. CONSTITUTION:A lower sheet ejecting roller has on both side thereof a flange 41 adapted form imparting nerve to a sheet S and formed with kick off portions having kick off projections 41b' for kicking off the trailing end of the sheet. Each of the kick off portions 41b also has a reverse feeding surface in form of a projection 41b'' extending at a gentle angle. Therefore, during forward feeding of the sheet S, it is kicked off by the projection 41b', and during reverse feeding, the sheet S is introduced by the gently inclined projection 41b'', causing generation of no abrupt steps in the sheet S. As there occur no traces of steps on the sheet S, defective transfer at recopying can be reduced, and further, vertical fluctuation of the sheet during reverse feeding is reduced, permitting stable reverse feeding.</p> |
