PURPOSE:A fleece is sucked and held close to the delivery point of a drafting mechanism, twisted to the same direction as the twist applied by the rotation of a spindle and imparted with required twist near to the nip point of the drafting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A fleece F delivered from a drafting mechanisms 4 is sucked by a suction nozzle 21 and made to contact with a rotary net 20. The rotary net 20 is rotated along a direction to twist the fleece F along the same direction as the twist imparted with a spindle 5. The fleece is imparted with required twist near to the nip point 4a. Secondary ballooning above a snail wire 8 can be suppressed and end-breakage can be prevented by this method.
