PURPOSE:To enhance simplicity and efficiency of processing of a photographic sensitive material by using a bleaching solution as a part of a bleach-fixing solution. CONSTITUTION:A part of the agent to be used as a bleaching solution is used as the bleaching agent part of the bleach-fixing agents, and the used bleaching solution or the bleaching solution carried by a photosensitive material is used as the bleaching agent part of the bleach-fixing solution. The metal to be used for the bleaching solution and the bleach-fixing solution is Fe, Cu, Co, Ni, etc., and general compounds to be used for them are sodium or ammonium salts, typified by iron sodium or iron ammonium ethylenediamine-tetraacetate. Alkali halide to be used for the bleaching solution is chloride, bromide, or iodide of sodium, potassium, or ammonium, and sodium and ammonium bromide are used most generally. |
