PURPOSE:To execute the positioning of a servo motor at a high speed by outputting a second pulse frequency which is multiplied by a prescribed ratio with respect to a first pulse frequency and applying a pulse train signal corresponding to the output pulse frequency to an adder/subtracter. CONSTITUTION:The first pulse train generator 11, when an angle command signal 4a is inputted, has the first pulse frequency Fc1 and the first pulse train signal 11a is outputted by the passing of the time of a frequency Fc1. The signal 11a is inputted to the second pulse train generator 12, outputs the second pulse train signal 12a of the second pulse frequency Fc2 in which a ratio R only is multiplied to the frequency Fc1 and inputs it to an adding terminal 6a of an adder/subtracter 6. Since the signal 12a with a high pulse frequency is inputted to the adder subtracter 6 in such a way, the positioning of a servo motor 1 can be executed at a high speed by a positioning device to use the first and second pulse generators 11 and 12.
