PURPOSE:To enable the adjustment of sensor position to be carried out by the operation of an operating part, by storing timing regarding a sheet detecting signal or data of timer time into an incorporated nonvolatile RAM, and further inputting another data for modifying these through the operating part. CONSTITUTION:In a nonvolatile RAM 32, respectively size partition and absolute dimensions of sheets D are stored, and timer times Ta, Tb which are different for each size and fixed timer times T1-T9 are also stored, and further the data of present processing contents are momentarily renewed and stored. And the contents of data of absolute dimensions corresponding to the size partition are made to be capable of rewriting by assigning the storing addresses of RAM 32 data by the operation at an operation display part 36. Accordingly, since the contents of present stored data A4, B4, and A3 can be rewritten into different dimensions, the data inside RAM 32 can be rewritten by storing previously a calculation formula into ROM 31, and calculating by CPU 30 in accordance with the size to be changed so as to obtain a prescribed timer time and basic data for timing. Thus, the adjustment of sensor position can be carried out through an operating part.
