PURPOSE:To reduce labor and time required for inserting or drawing a DIP by providing a link mechanism linking the movement of a pushbutton and the movement of a movable piece, a locking mechanism locking the movable piece under the state in which a terminal lead is held, a releasing mechansim for said locking mechanism, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a DIP is placed on an integrated-circuit socket and the DIP is pressed down from an upper section, a pushbutton 21 is pushed, and a movable piece 5 is moved in one direction of the longitudinal direction through a connecting rod 25. When the movable piece 5 is moved only by a predetermined distance against the force of springs 23, 30, a movable pawl 27 is engaged to a fixed projection 26, and the movable piece 5 is locked. Movable contacts 10 are moved in the direction of fixed contacts 9, and hold terminal leads for the DIP, and a characteristic test is enabled. When a releasing button 22 is pused, a projecting piece 29 is brought into contact with the movable pawl 27, the movable pawl 27 is removed from the fixed projection 26, and locking is released. The movable piece 5 is moved rapidly in other directions of the longitudinal direction by the repulsive power of the springs 23, 30, and the pushbotton 21 is sprung up. |
