Target, in particular for air rifle firing (shooting), for use in the automatic display of the firing result by means of vibrators which are connected to the target and emit signals as a function of the point of impact on the target which signals are processed in an evaluation device, and which also has an optical display device downstream thereof. According to the invention, the target consists of a ground and polished disc made from hard material through which the projectile (round) cannot penetrate, preferably stainless steel. The target image is mounted indestructibly on the target due to the fact that the latter has been sandblasted, the dark parts of the target image having been covered during the sandblasting.
