PURPOSE:To increase durability of a mold and economical efficiency by coating the periphries or periphery of a positive sealing plate and/or a negative sealing plate with melted hot-melt resin, and sealing a battery after cooling the resin. CONSTITUTION:A positive sealing body 6 is obtained by coating a positive sealing metal plate 5 with a melted hot-melt resin and cooling it. A negative sealing body 7 is obtained by coating a negative sealing metal plate 1 with the melted hot-melt resin and cooling it. The resin is applied to the periphries of the sealing plates 5, 1 by roll coater method or extruding method. When a battery is assembled by using the positive sealing plate 5 with the positive sealing body 6 and the negative sealing plate 1 with the negative sealing body 7, the peripheries are heated and the sealing bodies 6 and 7 are bonded each other. Therefore, the battery having good storage life and excellent economic efficiency can be obtained. |
