In order to prevent vapour escaping from a tank for liquids of variable vapour pressure, said tank is designed without "venting" as a bellows made of flexible film, specifically in such a way that the vapour-air mixture above the liquid always takes up only a very small part (</= 2%) of the capacity. As a result, the change in volume of the tank which is possible due to the flexibility when the vapour pressure of the liquid changes is also small and thus unproblematic because a small relative change in the tank volume already constitutes a large relative change of the vapour-air volume and can change the partial pressure of the air therein so greatly that the change in the partial pressure of the vapour is compensated. <IMAGE>
