The invention relates to a dental treatment chair in which the seat (2), the backrest (3) and, if appropriate, the head rest (4) are provided with a removable cushioning (8, 9, 10). The cushioning comprises a cushioning core (12) and a cushioning cover (13) which is arranged thereon so as to overlap the edge and is at least fixed to the back side of the cushioning. In order to permit the customer to exchange the cushioning cover himself/herself, the cushioning cover (13) is fastened in a removable manner.
