PURPOSE:To eliminate fundamentally a print position deviation by thinning out print data or giving dummy data to correct the print position deviation between 2-color print letters due to differences in load. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile reception signal is converted into print data of a prescribed from by a reception circuit 1 and sent and stored in a memory 2 by a prescribed data quantity. The memory 2 supplies print data to a head 4 while repeating write/read of the print data. After the print data is recorded by the 1st colors, black colors Q1, Q2 as thermosensitive recording, the recorded part is rewound and the 2nd colors, red colors Q3, Q4 are subjected to thermosensitive recording. While the dummy data is giving in the intermittent timimg of the scanning timimg in the recording of black print data to correct the shrinking quantity (d) to zero with respect to the recording position deviation E1.
