PURPOSE:To transmit quickly required information only by using a software program incorporated in a facsimile equipment to apply image conversion to a designated part only of an original and transmitting the result. CONSTITUTION:An original A is set to a mechanism part of a facsimile equipment, an original part to be transmitted is inputted as coordinates H, I, J and K by using an original part designating function section 12 and by means of an input method such as a ten-key to designate the part of the original. Then a read input clear function section 13 other than the original designated part skips the original part C not required for transmission and uses an original read section 14 to read an image signal of the original part B to be sent and a transmission output 16 is sent through a transmission circuit 15.
