PURPOSE:To make the copy operation impossible to prevent paper jam or the like by making it impossible to close a protective cover of an image forming device if a developing device is not locked. CONSTITUTION:If the developing device omitted in the figure is not completely locked to a part 100 to be set of a device body 1, a protective cover 104 cannot be closed, and movement of an original platen 4 is stopped to make the copy operation impossible. Thus, image defect, paper jam, or the like due to the copy operation with the developing device incompletely locked is prevented. |
