PURPOSE:To attain the ECL-TTL conversion by a single power supply by giving a bias to a base of a bipolar transistor (TR) to form a common base form, connecting its emitter to an input terminal via a resistor and providing a positive clamp means to its collector. CONSTITUTION:An emitter of a common base TR 13 is connected to an input terminal 11 via a resistor 12 and its base is biased to ground by a power supply 14, then when the potential of the input terminal is lowered than the said bias, the potential of the collector of the TR 13 is decreased. Since the potential is clamped by a power supply 15 and a diode 16, the potential is not decreased than the said level. lower Thus, the high level input of the ECL level is converted into a power supply (Vcc) level and the low level is converted into the level of the power supply 15. The base bias power supply 14 is formed by the resistor division and the base-emitter voltage drop of the TR.
