A child's seat (100) has two side parts (16) which are firmly connected to one another via a rear-side part (17). At the front side, there is provided a connecting web (18) which holds the side parts together in this region. For a seat panel (9) and a backrest (1), there are provided plurality of guiding grooves (2a, 2b; 3d, 3e) which are arranged at different heights in the side parts and at different distances from the front side, respectively. As a result, the child's seat can be adapted to different body sizes of the children. In addition, in the region close to the floor and in the vicinity of the front edges of the side parts (16), further guiding grooves (2c, 3f) are provided, on one hand for the seat panel and on the other hand for the backrest. In this position, the seat panel forms a base panel and the backrest forms a front termination, so that, as a whole, a box usable as transporting or playing box exists. If necessary, the seat or the box can be converted into a rocking chair by means of rockers which can be inserted at the lower edge or can be converted to a child's car by means of insertable wheels. Furthermore, fastening places for suspending from swing ropes are provided. <IMAGE>
