The known closure caps serve only as a protection against leakage and soiling and are generally connected to the container (drums, cans, propellant canisters and the like) by a flexible flap or chain so that they are not lost. In order that the pouring operation takes place without glugging, additional venting tubes are integrated in the conventional pouring openings, or a separate venting opening with a screw closure is provided. The invention is based on the concept that the flexible flap or chain is replaced by a flexible or other venting tube which passes through the lid of the closure cap and, at the same time, remains connected - loosely or firmly - to the closure cap. The closure cap can be fitted over a nozzle or alternatively screwed on if it is fitted with an internal thread, or pressed into a nozzle or screwed in with an external thread. When the container is opened, air flows into the "empty" part of the container for pouring the contents (liquid, viscous, granulated, etc.) without glugging. At the same time, the closure cap remains connected to the container by the venting tube and cannot be lost. <IMAGE>
