In a hydraulic sensor for mining equipment, in particular for hydraulic face supports, in which the hydraulic pressure is measured at one measurement point and electrically presented on a display which is remote therefrom, the sensor which can be installed between display and measurement point being constructed as a transducer which converts the prevailing hydraulic pressure into an electrical signal, there is provision according to the invention for the transducer to be accommodated in a sleeve which bears, at one end, a coupling for a hose leading to the measurement point, and bears electrical terminals at the other end, and for the sleeve to bear on the outside a housing terminal for the display and on the inside a diaphragm which seals off the hydraulic pressure from the outside and is connected to the electrical terminals.
