The invention of a cash desk platform system for installation within the cash desk platform of cash desk cubicles in bank counter rooms relates to a platform system having a platform trolley which can be moved into a trough-shaped depression of the cash desk cubicle, which serves as the standing surface for the cashier, this "trough" being openable by moving or raising the platform trolley or being closable completely in accordance with the level of the outer floor surface of the cash desk platform. In this case, in addition to secure and flush raising of the platform trolley to the level of the floor surface of the cash desk platform, the platform trolley is intended to be raised automatically at the same time as the platform trolley is driven into the trough. Provision is made according to the invention for the depression in the cash desk platform to be arranged in a rectangular, elongate recess, a platform element being arranged laterally therein, which has a cavity and a lateral opening to the depression so that the platform trolley can be moved into and out of the cavity apart from a lowered step arranged at its front edge. In this case, the platform trolley can be raised by means of lateral guides and a mechanical lifting device which automatically comes into effect by the movement into the opened part of the recess. The cashier can thus carry out his work in an ergonomically varied manner, standing up or sitting down.
