For bridging-over footpaths, the scaffolding supporting apparatus provides footpath supports (11.1 and 11.2) with hollow profile parts (30) which are welded on at the top and, owing to their symmetrical configuration, can, by means of connection elements (37), be combined telescopically to form portals of different widths and can also be lined up in rows one against the other. Diagonal bars (13) and railing bars (14) assume the task of longitudinal and diagonal reinforcement. U-profile holders (63) and U-crossmembers (56) are located above the hollow profile parts (30) and receive the claws (61) of the scaffolding frame panels (15.1, 15.2 and 15.3).
