The invention relates to a material guiding and metering device for tipping vehicles. In the accompanying drawing, the embodiment is represented by a flap (8) which can be rotated around a central spindle. The frame (3) is placed on the loading area (1) of the tipping vehicle and held at the front by chains and tensioning devices (4) and at the rear by hooks (5). The material guiding plate (6) directs the material during the tipping procedure into the metering device (2). The metering device comprises a flap (8) which is located in lateral limitations (7) and is mounted on a central spindle (9). The flap is opened and closed by the lever arm (10) and the hydraulic cylinder (11). A plate which has the shape of a quadrant and the dimensions of the turning circle of the outer ends of the flap is attached (12) to one half of the flap in a manner such that it can be removed and such that it can be pivoted around the central spindle of the flap. <IMAGE>
