For the purpose of fastening detachable dental prostheses with a web which can be inserted between abutment teeth and carries the dental prosthesis, at least one permanent magnet is provided between the web and the prosthesis. The permanent magnet is opposed by a ferromagnetic part or another magnet, so that activation of the retaining effect of the prosthesis is unnecessary even after repeated detachment of the prosthesis, while reliable retention is nevertheless ensured.
