A device for anchoring, on an existing wall, a masonry wall extending away therefrom is composed of a perforated rail (2), which is to be fastened on the existing wall and comprises a basic leg (1) and angled-off side legs (7), and of anchors (3) which can be hooked into the perforated rail, are to be laid in the joint bed of the extending wall and have at least one hook-shaped end (4). In order to achieve a universally applicable, inexpensive anchoring device, the invention provides that the hook-in holes (8) for the anchors (3) are arranged in the side legs (7) of the perforated rail (2), and that the hook-shaped ends (4) of the anchors (3) enclose a pocket-shaped receiving space (5), the internal width (B) of which is equal to, or approximately equal to, the width of the front edge (6) which belongs to the side legs (7) and around which the hook-shaped ends (4) engage. <IMAGE>
