PURPOSE:To communicate with a host computer, a terminal and other communications circuits without the interfaces of a computer and personal computer by incorporating a communications means understanding the protocol of the communications circuits in a printer. CONSTITUTION:The page printer 1 of an electronic equipment has a memory of at least one page from the nature of the printer, and incorporates a 16-bit CPU 2 to control the page printer 1. Moreover a page memory 3 being a storage device used for the 16-bit CPU 2 is built in the page printer 1. The communications means 5 such as a data communications MODEM is installed between the communications circuit 4 with the host computer and the terminal, and the 16-bit CPU 2.
