PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency of a common line signal by adopting the hierarchy constitution of multi-processors applying the same exchange processing regardless of an individual signal line and the common signal line. CONSTITUTION:A local processor LP is extended in response to the line scale in an exchange system comprising a subscriber circuit LC, a trunk line trunk COT, a digital trunk circuit DTI, channel system switches TSW of 3-stage constitution, an HSW and multiprocessor groups LP,MP,CSP or the like, and the analysis of a dial number and the request of transmission are applied to a main processor together with the detection of a call. A common signal processing processor CSP is operated when an opposite station is the common signal line and the similar processing as the local processor LP is applied to the main processor MP and the processor MP applies the same exchange processing to the individual signal line and the common signal line.
