PURPOSE:To shorten processing path information by inputting the shape of an object to be machined as a machining path limited graphic, checking its interference with the calculated machining path, and outputting machining path information which suppresses idle machining. CONSTITUTION:A shape surface coordinate value is checked whether it interferes with the machining limited graphic designated by the shape of the previously inputted object to be machined. When the occurrence of the interference is detected, a coordinate value A at that time is stored and an interference flag is set to '1' and the operation shifts to the machining path 14. This shifting is executed until the shape surface coordinate value comes to not to be interfered, which is calculated while a parameter (x) is changed. When the interference is not detected, a coordinate value B at that time is stored, the machining path is calculated from coordinate values A and B, and inputted as information on the machining path through which a tool passes.
