<p>The name of a processing step for balance cutting is registered in advance in a parameter storage region (13a). When the name of the step of balance cutting registered in the parameter storage region is input in the step of inputting the processing step, the next step of inputting tool data displays on a display (15) an interactive image to pose a question concerning the tools on the first and second tool rests used for the balance cutting. When it is required to prepare first and second NC programs for controlling the first and second tool rests using the whole data input interactively, the processor (11) prepares a first NC program for controlling the first tool rest in the order of processing steps that are input, and then inserts an instruction (e.g., G function instruction "G68") to symmetrically move its own tool rest in synchronism with other tool rest prior to NC data that executes the step of balance cutting. Then, the processor (11) prepares a second NC program to control the second tool rest, and inserts "G68" before the NC data for balance cutting.</p> |
