Filter centrifuge

In a filter centrifuge with a drum floor in which the centrifuge shaft is attached and a filter medium which is surrounded by a solid-bowl drum, a filtrate collection space is enclosed between the filter medium and the solid-bowl drum, from which space a gas discharge line which runs across the drum floor and through the centrifuge shaft leads outwards. The intension is to achieve, in the region of the drum floor, precipitation of a large quantity of the filtrate fluid contained in the discharged gas accompanied by a low constructional expenditure. For this purpose, it is proposed to form the part of the gas discharge line which extends through the drum floor from the drum floor and from a cover plate which faces the interior of the filter centrifuge and which is held at a distance parallel to the drum floor by spacing means.
