PURPOSE:To generate a specified waveform code and a pattern by only inputting waveform number by storing plural waveform numbers in a memory, and selecting a waveform number stored in the memory by a selecting means. CONSTITUTION:A waveform number inputted by a keyboard 31 is sent to a analyser and buffer 32, and when the waveform number is 0-9, it is retained in the buffer 32, and when #, waveform number data so far held in the buffer 32 are transferred to a memory 33 for waveform number preservation selected by a memory selecting device 34. Waveform number data stored in the memory 33 are read out by the selecting device 34 and transferred to a waveform code convertor 35 and a graphic pattern convertor 36. Code output of the waveform code convertor 35 is outputted to a wipe waveform generating device 38, and the output of the graphic pattern convertor 36 is outputted to a display device 37. Thus, specified waveform code and waveform pattern can be formed only by inputting the waveform number to the keyboard 31.
