The invention relates to a method and an installation for conveying waste products of furnace installations in the form of a mixture with water to a destination by mixing fly ash with water, if appropriate with the addition of slag, introduction of the mixture into a retaining container and conducting the mixture off from the retaining container through a line to the destination. The fly ash is supplied to the retaining container by at least one recirculated mixture part flow which is separated in the retaining container, water being supplied to the retaining container in such a manner that the constant volume state thereof is maintained. The volume of the recirculated part flow exceeds per time unit by 2 - 30 times the volume of the mixture part flow guided off to the destination. The installation has an additional line from the retaining container (1) to the inclined supply duct (3) and/or to the rinsing devices (6) for the supply of fly ash with a delivery pump (2) connected in such a manner that a part flow from the retaining container (1) can be supplied to the supply duct (3) and/or to the rinsing devices (6) connected to the supply duct (3) for the supply of fly ash in the circuit. <IMAGE>
