<p>PURPOSE:To correct the scatter of characteristics and changes in the characteristics corresponding to changes in environmental conditions and stabilize the characteristics by storing signals to which a prescribed modulation is applied in advance as functional type coded signals, reading out them at prescribed periods, D/A-converting the signals and using them as modulated signals. CONSTITUTION:When receiving reference frequency signals, a control signal generator 2 generates transmitting intervals and a transmitting time. Control signals operate a counter 3 or 4 during the transmitting time and address a memory 5 or 6. Modulated signals thus read out are converted into analog modulated signals by a D/A converter 8, supplied to a frequency converter 9 to be converted to a required frequency, power-amplified by a power amplifier 10 and outputted to an antenna via a duplexer 13. Waves reflected and returned from a target object are amplified by a receiving amplifier 15 and its output is converted into intermediate frequency signals by a mixer 16. The intermediate frequency signals are pulse-compressed by a matched filter 17 and compressed signals are inputted to the compressed signal processing system of a radar instrument.</p> |
