<p>The welding machine has a multiplicity of welding units, which can be displaced individually to have a mutual spacing, and a threading-in device arranged upstream of the welding units in the direction of transport of the longitudinal wires. The threading-in device comprises a carriage, which can be displaced on rails in the transport direction of the longitudinal wires and has a transverse beam 7, on which clamping tongs for the longitudinal wires are displaceably held. A tubular bellows 20, which is arranged between the beam 7 and the clamping tongs, is used for fixing the individual clamping tongs 9 in any desired position of the transverse beam 7 and, when pressure is applied, brings about a clamping between the clamping tongs 9 and the beam 7. <IMAGE></p> |
