PURPOSE:To compensate a variance and a change wit the lapse of time of characteristics of a blank lamp, a main charger and a photosensitive body, and to improve the accuracy of an erasion processing executed by the blank lamp, by detecting each light quantity of the blank lamp from the potential of the surface of the photosensitive body, and setting it correctly. CONSTITUTION:The first one of plural blank lamps 101 is lighted by rotating a photosensitive drum 101a and outputting a lamp use power source 102 by a command of a command means 103, an adjusting means 105 is adjusted by a comparing means 106, and when the potential on the photosensitive drum 101a, which is detected by a potential sensor 104 coincides with a prescribed set value, an adjustment quantity of the adjusting means 105 is stored in a storage means 108. Subsequently, the second one of the blank lamps 101 is lighted, the adjusting means 105 is adjusted by the comparing means 106, and when the potential coincides with the prescribed set value, the adjustment quantity of the adjusting means 105 is stored in a storage means 107. In this way, with regard to all blank lamps 1, the operation is repeated successively. |
