<p>Adjustable chair whose tilting from a work position to a relaxation position corresponds as far as possible to the natural movements of the spine of the user. The chair comprises a seat (14) and a back (16), the latter consisting of several band sections (16a, 16b) articulated together and defining, in the work position, a certain convexity in the lumbar region of the user and the band-section assembly is connected to a dorsal frame (26) which, when tilted, produces at least an alignment of the band sections, that is to say elimination of the convexity in the lumbar region as the seat tilts into a relaxation position.
