PURPOSE:To efficiently restrain poor acceleration caused by a turbo lag by controlling to be able to rapidly accelerate even if a turbo lag occurs when a lock-up clutch is in a clamped condition in an automatic transmission having a lock-up mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A torque converter 6 which is connected to the output shaft of an engine 4 having an exhaust turbosupercharger 9 and plural friction members for switching over the power transmission route of a change-gear mechanism 7 are provided on an automatic transmission. A throttle opening sensor 11, an engine output shaft rotating speed sensor 13, and an injection quantity sensor 14 are used as detecting means for detecting a turbo lag caused by the lag of operation of the exhaust turbosupercharger 9. A lock-up clutch for directly coupling the output shaft of the engine 4 to the output shaft of the torque converter 6, a detecting means for detecting a turbo lag which occurs at the time of accelerating, and a control means 8, a provided on the automatic transmission. Thereby, when the occurrence of the turbo lag is detected, a lock-up release signal is outputted from the control means 8. |
