PURPOSE:To save the consumption electric power of a battery by operating the titled recorder only for the time required for measuring and recording information. CONSTITUTION:A measurement recorder 1 is provided to an object to be measured and analog information outputted from a sensor 3 is converted into the digital quantity corresponding to a converter 4 actuated according to a preset program by a record instruction means 12 and the converted data are recorded in a recording medium 11 in a time series. After the recording of a bit of information in the recording medium 11 is finished, a switching means 20 is actuated and the supply electric power to the sensor 3, the converter 4 and the record instruction means 12 is interrupted for a prescribed time till the next recording and after the above-mentioned prescribed time passes, the supply of electric power is again started and the record instruction means 12 is again started and the next information is inputted and recorded.
