摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain exact absorptivity data by automatically cleaning the optical path faces of light transmitting and receiving prism with a wiping part as a reaction tube moves. CONSTITUTION:The reaction tube 12 is continuously passed between the light transmitting and receiving absorptivity prisms 2 and 3 which are immersed and disposed in constant-temp. water 4 of a thermostatic chamber 1. A wiping part 14 consisting of an elastic member such as silicone sponge is mounted on the outside peripheral face of the reaction tube 12 so as to face the optical path faces 2A, 3A. A flange 14A which contacts the optical path faces 2A, 3A of the absorptivity prisms 2, 3 is mounted to the end part in the progressing direction of the wiping part 14. The flange 14A of the wiping part 14, therefore, contacts the optical path faces 2A, 3A of the prisms to automatically wipe away stains as the reaction tube 12 passes between the prisms 2 and 3. Since the flange 14A is provided at the end in the progressing direction of the reaction tube, the measurement of the absorbancy is executed immediately after the stains of the optical path faces 2A, 3A are wiped away.
