PURPOSE:To improve the viscosity, the volatility and the igniting condition of duel and to reduce the Diesel knock by taking a paraffin system hydrocarbon together with the air into a Diesel engine during intake stroke. CONSTITUTION:A paraffin system hydrocarbon such as propane, butane, etc. is taken into a Diesel engine during intake stroke. When propane, butane, etc. is mixed into a mixture gas, the firing temperature is lowered and the firing lag is reduced considerably. Since mixing with light oil and the air causes lowering of the viscosity, the dispersion performance of fuel in a cylinder is improved.
