摘要 PURPOSE:To certainly measure a three-dimensional shape, by characterizing the surface of an article to be measured having no characteristic from the view of external appearance, by successively projecting plural kinds of light and dark patterns to detect the corresponding point of the image informations obtained from two directions. CONSTITUTION:A disc wherein a plurality of light and dark patterns having relation of a multiple of 2 between cycles are divided in a fan shape is set to a projection part 2. At first, a transparent pattern is projected to an article 1 to be measured and the outputs of first and second linear image sensors 24, 26 are successively read on the basis of the pulse from a timing pulse generation part 40 to be stored in first and second memories 50, 56 through first and second A/D converters 42, 46. Subsequently, a finest light and dark pattern is projected and the outputs of the sensors 24, 26 are binarized by comparators 44, 48 to be stored in a third memory 62. Succeedingly, said pattern is successively changed to a pattern having a longer cycle to repeat similar processing and, on the basis of the processing results, the corresponding point of the image informations of sensors 24, 26 is detected to certainly calculate three-dimensional coordinates.
