PURPOSE:To promote efficiency and high-precision of the work by inserting a wire rod through the center hole of each turbine rotor beforehand and on the occasion of the centering of the rotors at an installing site, connecting each wire rod and setting the shaft core of one rotor as a base core. CONSTITUTION:Center holes 12 are bored at the shaft core portions of the shafts of a low-pressure side turbine rotor 11a and a high-pressure side turbine rotor 11b, and at the same time coupling portions 13 are provided at the end parts of the shafts. A wire rod 14 for centering is inserted through the center hole 12 of each rotor and the surplus portion is wound around hooks 15 provided in the center hole 12. A latch 17 is connected with the tip of the wire rod 14 through an adapter 16. In the centering process of the rotors, wire rods 14 are supported by the casings located at both end portions, and each wire rod is connected through the latch 17, and the centering of each rotor is done by setting the shaft core of one rotor as a base core.
