发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION OF STEEL STRIP DURING CONTINUOUS VACUUM DEPOSITION
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a good and uniform vapor deposited metallic film on the surface of a steel strip by parting the heating element internally mounted to a wrap roll for the steel strip provided in a vapor deposition chamber to >=3 parts in the axial direction of the roll and controlling the temp. distribution in the axial direction of the roll. CONSTITUTION:The steel strip 10 entering the vapor deposition chamber G from an inlet side differential evacuation chamber V1 is wrapped around the wrap roll 1 and is delivered to an outlet side differential evacuation chamber V2. The heating elements 4a-c which are divided to >=3 parts are provided to the above-mentioned roll 1 in the axial direction thereof. The temp. distribution at >=3 points in the transverse direction of the steel strip 10 is then detected by temp. detectors 5a-c and the outputs of the heating elements 4a-c are controlled. The heat is transferred by contacting to the above-mentioned steel strip 10 at the temp. gradient given in the axial direction of the roll 1. The temp. distribution in the transverse direction of the steel strip 10 in the stage of vapor deposition is thus made uniform and the good and uniform vapor deposited metallic film is obtd.
