<p>A product for the controlled release of a treatment agent comprises a sealed container formed from synthetic foamed plastics material and a particulate treatment agent contained within the container and having particles larger than the pore size of the foam. A preferred product for stain removal purposes incorporates a brightener, a bleach activator and a stain remover soluble in cold water enabling the product to be used in the pre-wash cycle of a washing machine.</p> |
