PURPOSE:To make uniform the blow-off pressure of supply air by causing air to temporarily stay in a discharge chamber, then blowing off air through a grill blow-off port into the chamber, and causing supply air and exhaust air to carry out heat exchange during the passage within the heat exchanger, and further forming the grill blow-off port into an annular shape. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized air, which is supplied through a discharge port 14 of an air supply side fan unit 1 and whose pressure is made uniform in a discharge chamber 15 by means of a shielding plate 16, is blown off between an air supply grill 9 and an air exhaust grill 10, and is blown off into the chamber through an annular grill blow-off port 17 formed around the entire periphery of the air exhaust grill 10. Upon this occasion, supply air converts its dynamic pressure components into static pressure components by means of a shielding plate 16, and temporarily stays within the discharge chamber 15. Air within the chamber required to be ventilated is sucked up through the air exhaust grill, and passes through an exhaust air passage 18 formed in a main body casing 7 and an air supply and exhaust grill unit 8. Exhaust air flowing through the exhaust air flowpath 18 passes through a heat exchanger 5 within said flowpath, and carries out heat exchange during this operation, and is discharged by an impeller 20 from an exhaust air side fan unit 2. |
