<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the growth of a mushroom by forming a tuyere into m multi-hole nozzle construction, dividing the nozzles to stirring gas blowing nozzles and temp. measuring nozzles, blowing gases respectively independently to both nozzles and regulating the blowing rates thereof. CONSTITUTION:The stirring gas (pure gaseous oxygen, gaseous argon, etc.) is supplied from many stirring gas supply pipes 5 into an outside box 4-1 and is blown from the respective blowing nozzles opened to the outside box 4-1 into a molten steel at the time of blowing in a converter. A tuyere cooling gas (natural gas, gaseous argon, etc.) is supplied from a cooling gas supply pipe 6 into the inside box 4-2 and is ejected through the inside of the temp. measuring nozzles 3 opened to the inside box 4-2 past the circumference of optical fibers 8 into the molten steel. Since the tuyere is so constituted as to respectively independently blow the stirring gas and cooling gas into the molten steel in the above-mentioned manner, the formation of the mushroom at the top end of the tuyere is prevented by changing the respective blowing rates.</p> |
