PURPOSE:To cope with realization of a long life of an image carrying body, and also, to prevent the generation of a state that the image carrying body which has reached its life time already is used, by providing a full state detecting means of a toner containing part, a counter, a display means, and a reset means for resetting the counter. CONSTITUTION:When a toner containing part of a toner collecting container becomes full with a toner before a counter 201 counts ten thousand, a detecting signal of a full state sensor 32 becomes an H level (full state detecting signal), and accordingly, an output of an exclusive OR gate 212 which functions as an inverter becomes an L level. Therefore, only the second input 214b of a NOR gate 214 becomes an L level, and its output becomes an H level. Accordingly, the first indicator 210 is lighted in the same way as the counter has counted ten thousand and informs an operator the fact of only the toner collecting container is to be replaced. A solenoid 203 stores mechanically the fact of the full state detecting signal has been generated, and it is prevented to forget to reset the counter. |
