PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body which has high sensitivity and improved spectral sensitivity at a long wavelength range of 650-740nm by containing >=9 membered selenium molecule in the selenium layer in a vaporized state thereof. CONSTITUTION:In the titled body which is composed of a conductive substrate body having a metallic aluminum layer on a surface thereof and a selenium layer formed on the substrate body, the selenium layer contains >=9 membered selenium molecule (Sen, n>=9) in the vaporized state thereof. The surface of the conductive substrate body is made of the metallic aluminum. The surface temp. of depositing selenium is necessary to be 50-80 deg.C. The conductive substrate body may be composed of aluminum in the whole or on only the surface thereof. At all events, the selenium is necessary to be deposited on the aluminum layer. |
