PURPOSE:To make a device small in size and simple by providing a means for holding a cartridge in a roughly vertical state, and a means for peeling off each end part of a surface plate and a rear side plate of the cartridge in the opening direction, and dropping down a sheet-shaped recording medium which has opened and contained the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:When setting a cartridge 10 to a device is completed, substrates 32.32 are moved in the direction as indicated with an arrow, and by its tip part, a hinge 10A of the cartridge 10 is fixed. At the same time, auxiliary members 41B.42B of a peeling-off means 40 are moved to the cartridge 10 side as indicated with an arrow, and the cartridge 10 is fixed by grasping the lower end parts 10B.10C. Subsequently, when substrates 41A.42A in the peeling- off means 40 are moved in the direction reverse to each other as indicated with an arrow, the lower part of the cartridge 10 is opened, a sheet-shaped photographic film which has been contained drops down naturally, and thrown down to a guide member 50 which has been prepared in the lower part.
