MATERIAL FOR LAMINATION ROLLING

PURPOSE:To improve joint strength at the same thickness while assuring joint strength by laminating and uniting a joining material layer formed of a pure aluminum alloy and reinforcing material layer made of an aluminum alloy having the higher strength than the strength of the joining material layer. CONSTITUTION:A slab 4 consisting of the pure aluminum alloy and slab 5 consisting of the aluminum alloy having the strength higher than the strength of the pure aluminum alloy are heated and superposed and thereafter, the superposed slabs are subjected to hot rolling by which a rolling material stock 6 is manufactured. The stock 6 is subjected to cold rolling to form a cold rolling material 1. Two sheets of the rolling materials 1 produced in such a manner are superposed so that the joining material layers 2 thereof are positioned inside to face each other. The materials are then subjected successively to hot rolling and cold rolling and are thereby united to one body. The strength per unit area is improved by the above-mentioned constitution while the joint strength is assured.
