PURPOSE:To cast continuously a casting material having long length and high soundness by connecting a melting furnace, a vacuum tightening furnace arranging an exhausting means and a cast tightening chamber arranging a blowing means by the prescribed communicating tube. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal in the melting furnace 3 and the molten metal in the vacuum tightening furnace 4 connecting the exhausting means are connected by the first communicating tube 6. Further, the molten metal in the vacuum tightening furnace 4 and the molten metal in the cast tightening furnace 5 connecting the blowing means 54 are connected by the second communicating tube 7. By this constitution, a raw material, such as Cu, etc., is carried by a carrying means 35 to the melting furnace 3 to melt it. Next, the vacuum tightening furnace 4 is sucked to vacuum by the exhausting means 46, to execute degassing operation in the molten metal. After that, the cast tightening chamber 5 is pressurized by the blowing means 54, to cast through a nozzle 8. In this way, the vacuum degassing operation is executed, and so the casting material having high soundness is cast continuously.
