PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently and easily produce a tubular body excellent in dimensionally accuracy and quality by a method wherein extruded semi-molten strip stock is bent in a circular arc by being abutted and pressed and at the same time sized and cooled and finally wound in a circular shape. CONSTITUTION:An outside forming member 2 consists of a partial circular arc-shaped curved member, which is arranged in a state along the imaginary outside diametral line of a formed tubular body P and at the same time in an inclined posture along the helical angle of a synthetic resin strip stock A consisting of the tubular wall B of the tubular body P. An inside forming member 3 consists of rollers 3a..., which are in the same circular arc in the inside of the outside forming member 2 apart by the gap corresponding to the tube wall thickness. A semi-molten resin strip stock A extruded from a die 1 is formed in a circular arcuate and helically bent shape by being fed between and abutted against the forming members 2 and 3 and at the same time sized and cooled and supported with a group of take-up and guide rollers 4 so as to be wound in a circular shape. The wound tube wall B and the axial one side edge part of the following strip stock A fed between the forming members 2 and 3 are overlapped and heat-welded each other. By repeating the above-mentioned process, a synthetic resin tube is manufactured continuously. |
