PURPOSE:To turn the surface of a spherical glass into an aspherical surface by photopolymerization by providing a mercury vapor lamp, an optical insert and die sets. CONSTITUTION:Die sets 1 and 6 make a bell clamp structure at the location corresponding to a lens so as to determine the center of the lens. A mercury vapor lamp 2 radiates ultraviolet rays. After raising the die set 1, photopolymer 4 the amount of which is determined is placed on an optical coupling. After that, a glass lens which is cleansed and onto which coupling agent is applied is placed above the optical coupling 5. When the die set 1 is lowered at a certain position, the center of the lens is determined by means of bell clamp and the photopolymer 4 spreads by being pressed with the glass lens, so as to conform to the optical insert 5. When the mercury vapor lamp 2 irradiates the ultraviolet rays under the state just mentioned above, resin layer can be formed by photopolymerization on the one surface or both surfaces of the glass lens in the aspherical surface form. |
